Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adolescent Treatment Worker to join our team on a part-time basis, with availability for weekdays or weekends. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals with disabilities, autism, and other behavioral issues, ensuring their safety and promoting their well-being through effective treatment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to adolescents in a therapeutic environment.
- Implement crisis management techniques to ensure the safety of all clients.
- Conduct data collection and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health counseling.
- Engage in therapeutic activities that enhance social skills and emotional regulation.
- Monitor client progress and report any significant changes to the clinical team.
Qualifications
- Experience or training in crisis management, behavioral therapy, or mental health counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and data collection methods is advantageous.
- Understanding of working with individuals with autism and other disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with adolescents.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays or weekends as needed.
- A background in patient care or related fields is a plus.
