The Cook Housekeeper has a good working knowledge of both housekeeping and food services.

Essential Job Function:
- Prepares meals for clients.
- Ensures that all procedures for infection control and sanitation are properly followed.
- Ensure all procedures for food preparation are followed and in compliance with food manager certification requirements.
- Orders supplies as needed, receives and stocks accordingly.
- Completes reports and forms necessary to comply with procedures.
- Assists in preparation for special events and holidays.
- Routinely cleans and maintains all offices, furniture, hallways, living areas, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, etc.
- Attends and participates in team meetings, staff meetings, and supervision as scheduled.
- Works collaboratively and communicates appropriately with other staff members.
- Responds respectfully and effectively to people of all cultures, classes, race, ethnic backgrounds, and religions in a manner that recognizes, affirms, and values the worth of individuals, families, and communities and protects and preserves the dignity of each.
- Adheres to ethical standards of professionalism including maintaining confidentiality of each child and their family, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Have a current valid driver’s license
- Must complete Food Manager Certification
- Housekeeping and food service experience in preparation and cook is preferred.
- Ability to maintain records and documentation.
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Overall sound decision-making skills and ability to carry out decisions and tasks.
- Must be able to coordinate and perform a number of different tasks related to both housekeeping and food service.
- Must have a good working knowledge of both housekeeping and food services.
