We are currently hiring for: Brand Ambassador - This is a HYBRID role - Office presence 20% and must reside in territory. (Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Delaware, Eastern Shore.
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Brand Ambassador to join our team. This position will focus on building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and distributors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, promoting our products, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers in the local market, including restaurants, foodservice companies, and other distributors.
- Promote and sell our full range of poultry products to meet customer needs and maximize sales.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide product knowledge, pricing, and promotional support to clients.
- Lead the commercialization process for new customers and products, overseeing the full cycle from initial contact to product launch. Ensure all involved departments (e.g., production, QA, finance, etc.) complete their part in a timely and coordinated manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to suggest new opportunities or improvements.
- Collaborate with the operations and QA teams to ensure customer orders are met with high quality and timely delivery.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in the foodservice or retail sector; poultry industry experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Canopy a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the food industry or a related field.
- Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
