EXPERIENCED PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROVIDER QUALIFICATIONS

Our ideal occupational therapist has neurodevelopmental treatment training or a Sensory Integration certification. Here are the minimum requirements:

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution
• Washington State Professional License
• Extensive pediatric occupational therapy experience
• Valid Washington driver's license, reliable transportation, a good driving record, and proof of current personal liability insurance
• Willingness to obtain a CPR/First Aid certification within the first 90 days of employment

WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN EXPERIENCED PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROVIDER

Using the knowledge you've gained as an occupational therapist, you deliver holistic, compassionate services to children ages 0 to 3. You skillfully use a combined medical and educational model to meet each child's unique needs, adopting an interdisciplinary approach to provide comprehensive support. Focusing on family-centered and culturally diverse methods, you develop custom treatment plans and deliver high-quality evaluation, assessment, treatment, and consultation services.

Utilizing a parent-coaching model, you conduct therapy sessions in natural, comfortable environments. You help each child develop their motor skills, sensory integration, and essential life skills, setting them up for a lifetime of success. You inform the parents of your progress and educate them on continuing growth at home. By collaborating with skilled professionals, attending case conferences, and participating in weekly meetings, you empower children and their families to thrive!
