Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

A growing private practice is looking for a full-time and/or contract therapist who is passionate about speech and feeding therapy. Caseload consists of office visits as well as possible home or daycare visits (contingent on location). Seeking an SLP with experience in evaluating and treating speech/language disorders, including early intervention, articulation/phonology, apraxia, and stuttering. Experience with evaluating and treating oral dysphagia in pediatric population (specifically children ages2 experiencing delay in acceptance of age-appropriate foods, limited food repertoire) is encouraged, but on-site training is available. Must be willing to work independently. Therapist creates and manages their own schedule but will need some afternoon appointment availability. Caseload will increase as referrals are available. Competitive rate with caseload flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Conduct evaluations and assessments of children referred for speech therapy services

* Develop individualized treatment plans to address each child's unique needs

* Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for children

* Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, including updating client progress information for insurance re-authorization

* Communicate regularly with parents and other members of the child's care team

* Maintain detailed and accurate records of all services provided on our EMR system (Fusion)

* Manage schedules and caseload independently

Qualifications and Skills:

* Experience in pediatric population

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong time management in order to begin and end sessions on time

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to remain calm and patient when working with children who may be anxious or upset

Education:

* Master's (Required)

License/Certification:

* Temporary or Permanent North Carolina Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

* CCC-in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY Supervision Available)

* Must carry individual professional liability policy

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday, option for 4 Day, 10 hour work schedule

* Must have afternoon availability
