What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at HollyHills Development?
We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Manager; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with excellent leasing, customer service and sales experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
The Assistant Manager will be expected to be experienced in leasing, customer service, sales, resident retention, recertifications, marketing, rent collections and assisting the Property Manager in any additional duties assigned by the Manager. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maximizing market rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through effective marketing and leasing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Greet prospects and residents with a positive enthusiastic manner
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with prospective and current residents as well as vendors and staff
- Enter all guest cards and follow up on guest cards into DoorLoop
- Enter work orders in DoorLoop as they come in
- Responsible to maintain accurate files for all new move ins and recertifications
- Submit accurate monthly program report
- Completion of recertifications in a timely manner
- Submit files to collections monthly
- Maintain accurate and detailed knowledge of delinquency and rent collections
- Draft and deliver all resident correspondence, notices and legal notices
- Walk all move outs and process paperwork within 3 days of move out
- Responsible for all leasing, marketing and updating all advertising
- Close out work orders daily
- Maintain constant knowledge of surrounding market and comps to maximize rental rates
Skills:
- Experience with DoorLoop property management software is preferred.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Experience with all aspects of Affordable Housing is preferred.
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality are essential.
- Applicant must be dependable, with the ability to meet deadlines and be a team player.
- Must be organized and able to multitask effectively.
- Excellent closing/sales skills and exceptional customer service skills are a must.
- Professional written and oral communication skills are required.
- Applicant must have completed Fair Housing Training.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Valid driver’s license and driver's insurance are required.
