About the roleJoin a dynamic and influential role within a leading industry player known for innovation and excellence. As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Analyst III, you'll leverage your expertise in machine guarding, electrical safety, and risk assessment to ensure safe and compliant operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on-site in North Charleston, SC, supporting the implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems at a critical facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine functions related to site environmental and safety requirements, including gathering data, site inspections, and waste management.
• Support HSE objectives and compliance efforts, including stormwater management and employee training.
• Assist with internal and external HSE audits, resolving issues, and updating documentation.
• Monitor day-to-day operations concerning pollution prevention, air quality, and related programs.
• Analyze and distribute reports on HSE metrics, and prepare presentations for leadership.
• Manage HSE documentation, including SharePoint, Teams page, and calendars.
• Support HSE sites with reporting and maintain the HSE scorecard.
• Assist in preparing the annual operating budgets and coordinating workshops.

Requirements

• Must be located within 50 miles of North Charleston, SC.
• 5-7 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental analysis.
• Extensive experience in risk assessment and stakeholder management.
• Degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred skills

• CMSP certification preferred.
• Experience with HSE systems and computer skills, including database and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of STF, hoist and crane, confined space, ergonomics, and lockout tagout.
