Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance IT data architecture and management plans.
• Support the migration of Tableau solutions to the cloud.
• Convert business plans into technical solutions.
• Design, implement, and manage efficient data models and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in data management and security.
• Develop ETL pipelines for data transformations.
• Contribute to designing the data architecture's current and future states.
• Maintain data catalogues and storage strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and other teams.
• Document and streamline data management processes.
• Optimize information systems for current industry standards.
• Use Python for data extraction and manipulation.
• Leverage Llama models for enhanced data management.
• Provide SharePoint expertise.
• Engage with technicians, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• Must live in the U.S.
• University degree or College diploma in Computer Technology, Data Science, or related discipline OR equivalent education and experience.
• 8 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and cloud solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake on AWS Cloud.
• Advanced Python development skills.
• Proven experience with data migration and ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, SAP BI Modules, and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, design, and implementation skills in data solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication capabilities.

Preferred skills

• Certification in Data Science or Data Management.
• Experience with large-scale data lakes and big data solutions.
• Knowledge of advanced data storage and management practices.
