Production Packer

Job Summary: Responsible for the assembly and packaging of finished product.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Assembling in-process and finished product components.
• Packing of finished goods, which includes manual palletizing of product.
• Perform quality inspection for all parts and components produced.
• Responsible for changeovers
• Required to meet daily goals as assigned by supervisor or team lead.
• Correctly enter completed work onto daily check sheets.
• Clean equipment as required.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Active participant in Continuous Improvement Projects
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to 10hrs.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Frequently lift and/or move 50lbs.

· May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs.

Work Environment

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to wear safety glasses.

· Depending on assigned task location, the noise level in the work environment can be loud, hearing protection will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 - $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
