- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements
- Motivate and develop the Mutuel team members utilizing departmental training as well as regular HR provided training opportunities
- KPis are being met in Mutuels
- Proactively monitor tracked wagering activity, and work with the Manager of Racing Services to look for opportunities to increase live wagering
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems
- Directly supervises 40 employees in the Mutuels and Admissions area

- High School Diploma/GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
