WE LOVE OUR WORK.
- Responsible for starting all pari-mutuel, qualifying, and schooling races
- Stay in constant communication with the Starting Judge
- Assist in upkeep and maintenance of all starting gate equipment
- Assist paddock manager with various task, as needed
- Practice teamwork with all parties involved in the racing program, including commission employees and horsemen
- Ability to work in fast/slow paced environments
- Responsible for training when applicable
- Flexibility in hours and shifts
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
