Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Remove cash boxes from slot machine and replace with empty cash box using procedures that are within Internal Controls and Maryland State Gaming Regulations.
• Transports all collected cash boxes to the Count Room following predetermined route.
• Ensure key control procedures are followed.
• Operates automated currency equipment to count and process tickets/currency removed from the cash boxes
• Prepares Cash Storage Box Report with supporting documentation obtained from the counting of the cash boxes.
• Responsible for packaging currency and tickets/currency into predetermined amounts for later use by the Main Bank or the deposit.
• Transports the verified tickets/currency to the Main Bank and ticket storage area within Internal Controls and Maryland State Gaming Regulations.
• Complete daily maintenance of all count room equipment.
• Ensures that the count room equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Work professionally with other departments as needed to complete tasks.
• Ensure count is completed is completed on a timely basis.
• Write and distribute shift reports at the completion of each count detailing any issues that will need attention to ensure future counts run efficiently.
• Supervisory responsibility over Count Room activity.  
• Responsibilities include assisting department manager with interviewing and hiring employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• A minimum age of 21.  
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two plus years of previous leadership or management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
• Intermediate computer knowledge, MS Office, ACSC, CMS, SMS.  
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and regulations. 
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be licensed by the Maryland Gaming Board.
• will be monitored and recorded by audio and video.        
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
