What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Attendant position at Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge?
Your daily responsibilities include:
- Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino, front of house bar areas and public space of the hotel excluding kitchens.
- Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
- Transports all trash.
- Cleans up after all special events.
- Maintains front entry way and Porte Cohere
- Reports any problems to Facilities Supervisor.
- Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
- Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Prefer previous experience cleaning commercial property.
- While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance and smell. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duty of this job, the cast member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
Salary : $23,800 - $30,100
