Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Consistently prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, or hor d'oeuvres to standards established by the Executive Chef.
• Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly.
• Assist in development of associates.
• Must be able to stand a full shift
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customer of fellow team members.
• Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

• Minimum of three years’ experience in full-service restaurant preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Apprentice for Certification preferred.
• Knowledge and the ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment. The ability to identify all products used in kitchen operation. Able to recognize spoiled or questionable products.
• Ability to read, comprehend and executive recipes.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs. in a cart. Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder while carrying a minimum of 50 lbs.  Must be able to work independently and with a team.  Able to cook using industry and property standard techniques, procedures and equipment.  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift.  Flexibility in fingers and hands to utilize kitchen equipment, bottles/glasses/knives/, etc.  Responds to visual and aural cues along with experiencing extreme temperature changes.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The team member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
