Skilled Building Maintenance Technician - Dual Property - On Call

Performs the following duties as needed for Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and Boomtown Casino Biloxi:

• Provides preventative maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment (i.e. air, plumbing, electrical).
• Active team member in all aspects of the Facilities Department., including but not limited to, painting, cleaning, preventative maintenance, filter changes, moving material. This work will be performed inside and outside of the Facility.
• Troubleshoot all equipment operations (i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration).
• Informs supervisor of any trends or recurring problems with equipment or construction.
• Must be able to perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry if requested by a member of management.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and maintain a clean driving record. Must have drivers license on their person at all times.
• Exhibits friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
• Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Good communications skills. Proficient in the use of all power and hand tools. Proficient in welding, brazing and soldering.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrician experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Electrical, plumbing or HVAC license preferred
• Five years of direct experience in desired trade. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
