Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of the company. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing transportation logistics, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers or warehouses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipments, deliveries, and transportation.
- Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain/ order office supplies and warehouse supplies for Supply Chain
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of ladings for LTL carriers
- Maintain Safety/ Material Handling records for Supply Chain.
- Assist in maintaining DOT records for Fleet
- Act as primary liaison between DC and Transportation operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on shipment activities and performance metrics.
- Other logistics related activities as dictated by evolving business needs and assigned by management.
- Communication of potential delivery delays to stores
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and transportation documentation is a plus.
