Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of the warehouse inventory.

DC Auditor Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting physical inventory counts of DC stock and comparing the results with recorded inventory levels.
• Verifying the accuracy of inventory records by comparing them with physical counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Identifying and investigating inventory errors or discrepancies and taking corrective actions.
• Ensuring that all DC stock is properly labeled, organized, and stored.
• Collaborating with DC staff to improve inventory management processes and procedures.
• Assisting in developing and implementing inventory control (IC) policies and procedures.
• Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations for stock replenishment or adjustment.
• Conducting regular spot checks to ensure compliance with IC procedures.
• Analyzing inventory data and preparing reports on inventory levels, stock rotation, and other related metrics.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate inventory management activities.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory audits, findings, and actions taken.

Training DC staff on proper inventory management procedures and best practices

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
• Ability to move around the warehouse.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require body movement.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, push, pull, reach, and twist multiple times a day.
• Physically able to work in both extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Expected to communicate openly and respectfully with co-workers and supervisors.
• Expected to complete daily tasks within assigned “Zone” according to required training.
• Expected to effectively operate individually or as a part of a team.
