About Hollywood Park
Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.

As the Jr. Video Engineer, You Will…
The Jr. Video Engineer will be assisting senior engineers with various aspects of video production, including setting up and maintaining video equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other production staff for SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater.
More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…
- Preparing video cameras, switchers, monitors, and other equipment before productions or broadcasts.
- Setting up and maintaining audio and video equipment for private events
- Assisting with live productions, editing equipment, video server systems, digital audio mixing equipment, video productions switchers, graphic platforms, camera/robotics systems, intercom systems, etc, and ensuring seamless operation
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues. Diagnosing and resolving problems with video equipment, working with seniors to find solutions
- Collaborating with other staff working with directors, producers, and other technical personnel to integrate audio, lighting, and video elements
- Maintaining equipment ensuring proper maintenance and repair of video equipment to ensure its longevity and performance
- Gaining knowledge of 4K/ UHD Broadcast technology, IP routing and IP 2110 multicast architecture, and industry standards under the guidance of senior engineers
- Helping to design, implement, and maintain video production systems, often in collaboration with senior engineers
More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To...
- Bachelor’s degree or equal Technical Degree in video engineering and/or 3 years of experience in video and broadcast engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sports/broadcast entertainment field
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work well with others within a team environment
- Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision
- Be able to work effectively with other departments receiving and communicating
- Knowledge of the following equipment (Bonus):
- Evertz Routing, Multiviewers, Dreamcatcher, IP Gateways, Sync Generators, Timecode
- Distribution, etc.
- Ross Acuity Switchers, Xpressions, Tessera, Dashboard, Incoder, etc.
- Sony 4K/ UHD Cameras, Controllers, Tripods, etc.
- Ross Pierro
- Riedel Intercoms
Compensation
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
