Responsibilities:
- Install low voltage systems, including cabling, equipment, and components.
- Document and install cable plant designs for complex Audio/Video and IT projects.
- Install and troubleshoot network components like switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Integrate and program home automation control systems.
- Support, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and networks.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience with building and lacing AV and network racks.
- Understanding of audio, alarm, fire, lighting systems, and home automation, or the ability to learn.
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting network components (switches, routers, wireless access points).
- Experience in custom residential system integration and setup is a plus.
- Familiarity with Savant, ELAN, RTI, Crestron, Lutron, AMX, or similar programming is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to educate clients and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
