Since 1998, Holm Electric, Inc. has been a leading electrical contractor in Reno/Carson City/Tahoe and Truckee. We specialize in providing comprehensive electrical services from custom residential homes and commercial projects to home automation and other specialized systems. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. Qualified candidates should have 10 years of electrical experience, including at least 3 years experience as a foreman or superintendent and 3 years as an electrical project manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and management, to ensure job profitability on multiple projects
- Coordination and communication with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades
- Read/interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and/or other construction documents
- Handling of RFI’s, Submittals, Purchase Orders, etc.
- Assist and/or coordinate with project estimators and engineers
- Regular visits to multiple jobsites and attendance at project meetings
- Management, oversight, and development of job-site leadership (foremen/superintendents)
- Overall project QA/QC
- Track project progress and manage documentation using CRM and project management software.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
- Candidate must be able to perform rough & finish installation of electrical systems in a construction setting.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate methods of installation to subordinates.
- A solid understanding of NFPA 70 - National Electric Code (NEC).
- Experience with integrated home automation systems
- Capable of identifying proper materials, suitable for the use listed, and as required for specific installations.
- The ability to lead crews effectively in a construction environment.
- A valid driver's license and clean background.
