The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at BMW of Pembroke Pines, part of the Holman Automotive Group. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing all transactions within the workflow system. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or office work and possess strong attention to detail.

  • Location : BMW of Pembroke Pines
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (40 hours per week)
  • Hourly Rate : Starting in the $20 per hour range, depending on experience
  • Automotive dealership experience required

Principal Responsibilities :

  • Review and process all transactions in the workflow system.
  • Validate accounting and non-accounting transactions based on team responsibilities.
  • Electronically file all documents required for each team's responsibilities.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of transactions as directed by department leadership.
  • Scan or file documents in compliance with department procedures.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the department supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Post all transactions, including banking, journal vouchers, check requests, and others as necessary.
  • Compile necessary documents and reconciliations for the team.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment and provide backup support to similar or other functions within the department.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Accounting coursework or previous office experience required.
  • Automotive dealership experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in scanning and filing documents electronically.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Temporary or Part-Time

    Pay :

    We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $15.79 - $21.32 USD per hour.
