ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Plans, organizes, and communicates daily workload.
• Verifies the yard is correct and that the information is accurate for all trailers/containers
that have been picked up or brought in.
• Collects, counts, and prepares picklists for all shipments and enters the information into the
portals for each carrier.
• Maintains a working relationship with all carriers and Hill’s Planning Team to make sure all
shipments are covered.
• Manually directs all international shipments to follow correct FIFO standards.
• Performs audits on international paperwork. Makes sure that all documents are present,
stamped, and completed correctly.
• Requests, organizes, and maintains copies of all COA’s for products shipping
internationally.
• Coordinates with carriers and schedules times for all inbounds and outbounds.
• Enters all shipments and other information into the schedule. Continually reviews the
schedule for inconsistencies.
• Prepares folders with all necessary paperwork for each outbound.
• Runs daily reports to make sure that all shipments have been processed correctly and in
timely manner.
• Communicates and coordinates the pickup or repair of all rejected trailers on the yard and
keeps an updated list of all rejections.
• Completes daily reporting for Security, and other reports requested by management.
• Plans transport for all LTL shipments.
• Runs the Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) report daily and updates with correct dates.
• Maintains the EMC planning document with all plant production, and warehouse shipping
information.
• Creates shipments and secures transport for test products and international registration
samples.
• Monitors partial pallet numbers and adjusts shipments as needed to ship bulk product out.
• Works with IT to make sure the schedule is up-to-date and function utilization is
maximized.
• Keeps a current record of heat treated and domestic pallets on-hand and orders them as
needed.
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years-experience in a transportation supervision. Proficient with DOT
and other driver, carrier regulations.
• Computer Skills: Intermediate computer or tablet skills; intermediate Microsoft Office skills
(Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP.
