What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst - Operational Excellence position at Holman?

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
The Holman Analyst - Operational Excellence is responsible for:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze historical data and conduct research to establish KPI benchmarks and annual targets.
- Gather and validate monthly results from business owners of KPIs and Partner Bonus Program (PBP) goals.
- Conduct business QA and IT QA to ensure dashboard accuracy and reliability.
- Support the publication of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Partner Bonus dashboards.
Dashboard Management:
- Assist with updates to executive dashboards to reflect annual KPIs, OKRs, and PBP goals.
- Partner with IT Data & Analytics resources to maintain and improve dashboard functionality and usability.
- Work with leadership and key stakeholders to explore needs of the business and scope out potential dashboards or updates to existing dashboards.
- Stay informed of existing departmental dashboards, respective KPIs, and IT dashboard roadmap work.
Strategic Support:
- Support Strategy Managers in micro-strategy reviews, identifying OKRs, and setting strategic targets.
- Contribute to the analysis and monitoring of operational excellence metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Operational Excellence Frameworks:
- Assist in the development and refinement of operational tools, methods, and frameworks.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in operational processes and metrics.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Partner with the Holman Strategy Office and other departments to support the rhythm of business initiatives.
- Coordinate with external consulting, investment, and research partners as needed for operational projects.
Other Responsibilities:
- Travel and Company Representation: Travel approx. <5% of work time in the US and international to conduct and support strategic planning and initiative support, participate and represent the function and the enterprise at industry or function specific events and conferences.
- Other duties and special projects: Perform all as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Analytics, or a related field.
- Certification or training in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other operational excellence methodologies is a plus.
- Training or experience building reports in PowerBI preferred.
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.).
Relevant Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience in an analyst role, preferably within operational excellence, strategic planning, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with performance management metrics and dashboards is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $56,400.00 - $81,775.00 USD annually for full time employees.
