Director Corporate Procurement

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Director- Corporate Procurement

Primary Tasks:

• Lead team of skilled professionals, including managers and category leads to execute flawlessly, delivering on annual KPI’s that are tied directly to Holman Business and Department level strategic initiatives.
• Partner with all Holman Business Units and critical central departments including IT, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR to
• provide thought leadership and guidance regarding procurement and supplier management strategies.
• Strategically leverage the combined spend of Holman Business Units to identify new, creative approaches to delivering supplier value in terms of cost, execution, and quality while driving efficiencies and minimizing risk.
• Own, lead and champion the Holman procurement process. Design new processes and ensure that all Company best practices are adhered to by personnel involved with the procurement function. Responsible for implementation and enforcement of central governance for the procurement function.
• Lead vendor management effort within responsible categories to provide feedback on supplier performance (cost, quality and execution) and follow up with resolutions including involvement in periodic vendor audits.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Relevant Work Experience:

• 8 years’ experience, including 5 at a leadership level; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
• Advanced understanding of supply chain procedures, processes, and core values.
• Extensive knowledge and experience within own function and general knowledge of areas, departments and/or function(s) within and across other disciplines
• Key Competencies: Collaboration, Procurement, Project Management, Clear Articulator, Strategy Development, Interpersonal.

Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master’s preferred
• Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
• CPM, CPSM or equivalent preferred (or willing to obtain)

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $145,790.00 - $229,625.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
