Holman Powertrain has a great opportunity for an Operations Specialist (Warehouse Lead) to join our team in Maryland!
- Starting pay: $24-$26/hr. based on Experience
- Shift: 830am-4:30pm

What will you do?
- Facilitate proper training of new and existing team members through a standard training program, ensuring departmental initiatives are included as well as industry best practices.
- Supports the day-to-day workflow based in the direction of the Supervisor.
- Warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Assisting warehouse team with daily duties (receiving/processing/order picking and pulling for delivery etc.)
- Coordinate with internal departments for special handling of tactical challenges and process updates; deliver immediate resolution on issues.
- Identify long term solutions and process enhancements to address logistics and supply chain challenges with leadership team.
- Lead by example.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Motivate Associates to be efficient, productive, and promote a healthy happy work environment
- Lead the workflow of warehouse processing
- Coordinate and lead the team to ensure all roles are being fulfilled safely
- Implement new ideas and processes that will drive overall efficiencies
- Report on daily production outcomes
What are we looking for?
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight and/or warehouse operations
- Material Handling Experience
- Understand MS Office
- Forklift lift Experience
- Pallet Jack Experience
- Process/detail oriented
- Ability to plan and monitor freight deliveries and identify problems that can impact the timely unloading, receiving and put away.
- Problem solving regarding the inventory management and movement of goods
- Identify risks with regards to OSHA and Hazmat compliance and communicate to the location Supervisor.

Pay:
