Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a Salesforce – Release Manager to join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment
- Initiates enterprise base work initiatives and projects
- Develops and presents business case to management
- Manage, coordinate, and plan project tasks and resources
- Develops, maintains and enforces production monitoring and additional capabilities
- Defines a continuance improvement plan to ensure currency of application stability
- Supports multiple systems or applications of enterprise complexity (defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility
- Acts as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation ongoing solutions supportability
- Works with project managers to coordinate and plan project tasks and resources
- Work closely with management to understand specific business needs of various departments, and deliver technology solutions with tangible business value across all Holman corporate entities
- Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms based on engineering requirements
- Develops new alerts and monitoring techniques based on engineering requirements
- Develops scripted solutions and automation
- Coordinates changes across multiple systems
- Define availability standards for a variety of platforms and environments
- Recommends changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance
- Develops, maintains, recommends, documents, and supports tools and back-end utilities to provide capacity planning management
- Leads or provides technical direction for the planning, designing, and execution of testing efforts
- Participates in the creation and maintenance of metrics around the system and ensure success in process institutes a process for continuous improvement
- Develops, plans and presents business case for improving team or technology by enhancing or automating processes
- Reviews and validates recommendations based on health check results
- Oversees long and short term project efforts. Manages timeline and resources
- Provides Level 3 production support
- Coordinates problem resolution among a variety of functional areas and provides subject matter expertise support for diagnosing and resolving problems
- Makes recommendations to improve security and participates in investigations as needed
- Ensures adherence to security requirements
- Architect backup and recovery solutions based upon mutually agreed upon SLAs
- Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and standards
- Contributes to policies, procedures, and standards
- Reviews production, outputs and services with other engineers to ensure quality metrics and SLAs are being met
- Assists in developing SLAs
- Reviews and approves documentation for new Infrastructure solutions
- Ensures documentation is developed and maintained
- Evaluates future technologies and makes recommendations for software and hardware upgrades
- Provides technical guidance, coaching/mentoring to team members
- Generates and validates IT system baselines, including validation of documentation
- Ensures IT system security baselines are met and security improvements are implemented across the server environments
- Generates processes to ensure appropriate user privileges and access are granted, ensuring data integrity and security is met
- Works across teams to ensure IT system upgrades and service pack deployments are implemented with minimal impact to production operation
- Recommends updates to operating systems to deliver cost benefits without reducing production performance and availability
- Analyzes data from monitoring activities and define comprehensive, system wide improvements
- Monitors performance and proactively identifies uptime issues, making recommendations for eliminating those issues
- Actively monitors and publishes the availability plan discussing the ability of the IT infrastructure to meet the availability requirements of the business
- Works with vendors and architects to understand their technology roadmaps
- Develops plans to adopt new technology
- Identify stretch projects and recommend them to management. Identifies problems and acts to prevents and solve them
- Communicates events to stakeholder and IT teams & leadership
- Actively participates in incident management discussions providing clear and concise answers
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Relevant Work Experience:
- 7 years’ relevant experience deploying and/or administrating infrastructure solutions
- Expert knowledge and experience with multiple infrastructure solutions
- Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
- Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.
- Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Additional relevant education, certifications, or other distinctions are preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
- Expert proficiency in designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux based environments
- Expert proficiency with virtualization (e.g., VMware)
- Expert proficiency with systems monitoring
- Expert proficiency in scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
- Expert proficiency with cloud computing environments (e.g. Azure, AWS)
- Expert proficiency with APIs, orchestration, and automation
- Advanced networking knowledge (OSI network layer, TCP/IP)
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory design supporting geographically dispersed locations to include LDS authorization integration
- Expert proficiency of file servers utilizing storage at scale to include disaster recovery capabilities, and DFS namespaces, configured for high availability

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 - $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees.
