Staff Accountant - Corporate

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Staff Accountant - Corporate.

Principal Purpose of Position:

• Perform monthly close function
• Post journal entries; revenue/expense accruals
• Prepare accounting for intercompany transactions and provide to operations
• Perform account reconciliations
• Audit and post subsidiary journal
• Provide accurate and timely financial and management reports
• Review budget and trend variance reports and provide explanations
• 1099 tax reporting and compliance
• Assist with financial and bank audit compliance
• Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedures
• Document and monitor internal controls
• Provide support and guidance to other team members in the accounting and FP&A departments
  
  

Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  
  

Relevant Work Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• 1-2 years accounting, audit, or related experience required
• Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful information.
• Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $56,400.00 - $81,775.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
