Supervisor - Internal Audit

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

What will you do?

• Assist the Vice President in strategic audit planning
• Assist in the audit risk assessment for audits of all operations of the company
• Perform scheduling and other audit administrative functions as needed
• Lead multiple teams of auditors to perform and document tests of the company financial records
• Train entry-level and senior auditors in proper documentation of substantive audit procedures and documentation of process controls
• Provide direction and on hand instruction on how to conduct tests to determine compliance with accounting standards, laws, regulations and company policies
• Review the work of others and provide coaching
• Analyze root cause analyses and negotiate solutions with management to improve processes
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Four year college degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Master’s degree or MBA, a plus
• CPA or CIA is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in the field of accounting or auditing
• Leads in a team setting
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks for others
• Ability to grasp and communicate concepts and respond to coaching
• Provide coaching to those with less experience
• Interact and work with employees at all levels in the organization including business units and executive management
• Ability to develop others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $81,210.00 - $117,760.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
