Duties
- Design and execute a comprehensive activities program that caters to the diverse interests of residents, including arts and crafts, games, music therapy, and physical fitness.
- Assess the individual needs and preferences of residents to create personalized activity plans that promote engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure activities are aligned with residents' health care plans.
- Organize special events, outings, and celebrations that encourage community involvement and enhance social connections among residents.
- Train and supervise activity staff or volunteers to ensure high-quality programming and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through feedback and assessments.
