Position Summary : Senior Human Resources Generalist / Safety
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting a range of HR functions, including payroll / benefits administration, safety, training, and employee relations. This position will work in all areas of Human Resources and will have a tremendous impact on the organization. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring that HR processes run efficiently.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Assist in a variety of HR responsibilities including, but not limited to payroll / benefits processing, safety, training, recruitment, employee leave administration, and performance and talent management.
- Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Lead the employee onboarding / orientation. Work with leaders to adjust the program as necessary to ensure individual and employer success.
- Assist with disciplinary actions, coaching, terminations, and investigations as needed.
- Address employment-related inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed.
- Lead the recruitment cycle for all hourly employees
- Ensure all annual training is tracked and completed as required
- Ensure safety audits are completed, documented, and action items closed out
- Lead incident investigations and submit W.C. claims as needed
- Lead the company safety committee
- Performs other duties as assigned.
