Director of Sales and Operations for Plant Health Care

Summary:

Holmes Complete Tree Care is seeking a Director of Sales and Operations to develop a Plant Health Care division as business needs grow. As the Director of Sales and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our clients who are seeking recommendations and guidance on tree safety and health to maintain and enhance their property. This is a new division that is being created. The candidate must have a “can do” attitude and take initiative to build this department from the ground up with the resources provided by Holmes Complete Tree Care.

Responsibilities

·      Meet with clients and assess the health and condition of trees and shrubs. Provide expert recommendations for plant health care. Educate clients on proper tree and shrub care techniques and maintenance practices.

·      Generate quotes in a timely manner using our CRM platform.

·      Sell recommended services for tree work and plant health care.

·      Temporarily implement sold services for plant health care until the division grows.   

·      Oversee and manage a tree crew whose implementing sold tree work. 

·      Stay updated on industry tends, best management practices, and safety regulations.

·      Maintain accurate service records and recommendations using different technology when out in the field.

Qualifications

·      Certified Arborist with ISA required

·      Ability and experience operating tree care equipment and to apply plant health care products, safely and efficiently

·      Additional certifications related to arboriculture or horticulture a plus

·      Strong customer services skills needed to effectively communicate with clients and build/maintain good client relationships.

·      Previous arboriculture sales experience a plus

·      Skilled in utilizing multiple different software and hardware devices to efficiently manage workload

·      Strong time management skills required

·      Candidate must be driven and have an entrepreneurial mentality.
