Holmes Family Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, privately-owned, general practice. We treat dogs and cats and also treat birds, small mammals and other exotic pets. We are passionate about providing high-quality and compassionate care to our patients and the clients we serve. We offer advanced medical and surgical services for our patients using the newest, most advanced medical equipment. This includes digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, video otoscopy and therapeutic laser.
We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our fun, dedicated team. We are located in Walpole, MA right off I-95 near Patriot Place. We are open Monday-Saturday and closed on major holidays. We offer an excellent salary and benefits package and place a strong emphasis on employee wellness and maintaining a good work-life balance.
Some work responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients face to face, answer questions, check in clients and patients patients, and handle payments.
- Answering phone calls, answer basic questions, screen and schedule appointments.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and email.
- Updating and filing patient charts, including obtaining medical records from other facilities.
- Entering data into a computerized billing program.
- Processing credit card payments and prepare bank deposits.
- Assisting with purchases such as medications, pet food, supplements, and grooming items.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the waiting room.
In addition to providing excellent customer service to clients and ensuring that front desk operations run smoothly, the customer service representative acts as the primary greeter when a client enters the clinic with their pet, alerts the appropriate technician or veterinarian of the client’s arrival, and processes the client’s payment at the conclusion of the appointment.
