Job Description :
We are looking to add a Carrier Relations Consultant to join our Property Casualty team in Waukee, IA . Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!
Essential Responsibilities :
- Develop relationships with carrier partners including underwriters, sales and management.
- Create (in Salesforce) a consolidated data base that includes underwriting contacts for carrier partners in all offices; continuously updating changes as they occur
- Educate enterprise staff on the status of the insurance market, and the carrier personnel and appetite changes.
- Monitor the performance of book of business with various insurance carriers.
- Assist in developing growth goals with carrier partners.
- Identify and develop new markets for customer exposures and opportunities as needs arise.
- Manage and coordinate carrier visits to HMA office locations and record activity.
- Collaborate and problem solve with sales team, service team, clients and underwriters.
- Develop / maintain effective communication and relationships with company underwriters and clients.
- Develop and maintain active contacts within the industry to keep informed on industry trends / issues.
- Monitor the performance of HMA's portfolio with carriers (i.e. loss ratio, growth, premium, etc.) and record production reports.
- Manage co-fund dollars from carriers working with internal stakeholders and carrier partners to determine how to apply.
- Work collaboratively with Corporate Compliance and Legal on carrier contracts requests and execution.
- Share carrier appetites, coverages, footprint and personnel changes.
- Serve as resource to help carriers navigate HMA enterprise relationship.
- Attend insurance industry and carrier conferences as a representative of HMA.
