In this role, you will exhibit the ability to understand client business operations and apply underwriting expertise to create best in class risk solutions and services.

Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and negotiate price, coverage terms and conditions for all new and renewal business generating profitable and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with agents and brokers and align with carrier appetite and IPS guidelines.
- Manages and underwrites an IPS portfolio of business. Ability to provide commercial Underwriting expertise in Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella, General Liability.
- Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting
- Skills & Technical Competencies: Consistent ability and willingness to engage in both internal and external educational opportunities to enhance their knowledge of current insurance topics and relevant system improvements. Committed to pursuing relevant designations and continuing education as appropriate.
