Business Title:
- CDL Truck Driver

Job Purpose:
- To safely and efficiently operate a semi-truck, ensuring the timely and secure transportation of goods while adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operation of heavy machinery and equipment, specifically a semi-truck.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail while operating the vehicle and managing associated documentation.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety by adhering to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and pre-trip inspection procedures.
- Performing physical tasks associated with the role, including prolonged periods of sitting, standing, stooping, and bending.
- Ensuring the safe and effective operation of the vehicle in various weather conditions and road challenges.
- Maintaining accurate logs and records of driving activities, vehicle inspections, and cargo transported.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhering to all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
 

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Class A CDL

Required Experience:
- Operation of heavy machinery and equipment
- Safe and effective operation of commercial vehicles

Preferred Experience:
- Operation of standard transmission tractor

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Physical strength and endurance (ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods)
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Adaptability to various weather conditions and road challenges

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
