What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Analyst position at Hologic Careers?
We are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst in our Diagnostics division in San Diego, CA!
Under our Manufacturing Operations function, you will be supporting the Planning, Procurement, and the Supply segment of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), via data analysis and process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Support the IBP policy, procedures, and documentation via data collection and analysis
- Support IBP Supply Review monthly meetings including analysis of KPIs, generation of meeting slides, and compliation of meeting minutes and action items.
- Contribute to various process improvements that impact Supply Chain to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth.
- Proactively work with the Supply Chain Management Team to identify and resolve issues in support of department and company goals
- Represent Supply Chain on software implementation teams including Kinaxis RapidResponse for supply planning and Microsoft PowerBI for data analytics
- Analyze ERP system output for conformance to desired planning/procurement objectives and provide configuration recommendations to improve the accuracy of ERP output
- Facilitate audits of Supply Chain data in the ERP system and support corrective actions/process changes to improve system performance and data quality
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in business processes within the Operations team such as routings, planning, scheduling, manufacturing and material handling
- Assist in driving change management initiatives through creation and improvement of procedures aimed at improving business processes; Design, build, and maintain automated reports and dashboards
- Perform root cause analysis on supply chain planning and procurement issues by analyzing data from a variety of sources and using judgement to recommend resolutions within company policy
Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing and/or Kinaxis RapidResponse is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP system function and configuration
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles (Lean, SixSigma, Etc.)
- Able to work as part of a team, cross-functionally, while also being able to take initiative individually.
- Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities; Ability to analyze data to identify and compare norms, trends and patterns.
- Strong communication and project management skills; Ability to present issues of concern and recommend solutions
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships
- High motivation and self-directed work ethic
Education and Experience
- BA/BS Degree with a Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Data Analysis focus, and 1 - 2 years of industry experience
- Experience in diagnostics manufacturing industry, with strong skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems & data analytics would be a plus

The total compensation range for this role is $69,000.00 - $85,600.00 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance.
