Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites before and after construction activities.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work as required.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure tools are properly stored after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.
