What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at Holsten Management?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
➢ Greeting and answering questions, both by phone and in-person from prospects and current residents in a professional and positive manner
➢ Develop both print and internet marketing and advertising strategies
➢ Daily follow-up on guest cards.
➢ Participate in outreach marketing activities, distribute flyers, advertising and marketing materials
➢ Facilitate "move-in" process including touring models or vacant units, set-up of mini- models as needed, promoting the property and lease signing
➢ Assist with application verifications
➢ Signs all initial leases
➢ Oversee leasing renewals
➢ Conduct marketing surveys, shop competitors where applicable and complete Marketing
Reports
➢ Conduct all business transactions in accordance with Holsten’s policies and procedures, and in compliance with Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit
Reporting Act and all Federal and State laws
➢ Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements/Qualifications:
➢ High School Diploma required; any college level marketing course work preferred.
➢ (Two or more years' experience with Marketing/Leasing and Customer Service.
➢ Basic computer skills (familiar with Microsoft Office software; ability to learn functions of and navigate through property management database; (Onesite and Yardi) preferred.
➢ Affordable Housing Tax Credit experience preferred.
➢ State of Illinois Leasing Agent License required.
