Job Summary
We are currently looking to hire School Bus Drivers for the 25/26 school year! This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who likes having their day free of obligations! This position's responsibilities include driving a morning school route (6am to 8:30am) and an afternoon route (2pm -4pm) The time in between shifts is yours!
We pay $450 a week with PLENTY of optional opportunities for extra pay with field, band and football trips.
We will cover the cost of training you for your School Bus / Passenger CDL license.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Must live in the Bristol area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
- Assist children in boarding and disembarking the bus as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus by conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues.
- Document daily activities, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport.
Qualifications
CDL is required for the role, but if you do not have a CDL license, we will work to get you certified! Applicants with an existing CDL will be looked at first.
Experience with professional driving is a plus, but not a requirement for applying.
