General Summary :
The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) is a skilled allied health professional specializing in education, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Effectively interacts with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers while maintaining the standards of care and code of ethics as detailed by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). The ATC may be responsible for community education and college / university education and athletic training services.
This position will cover a wide spectrum of services for the college / university setting, physical therapy outpatient setting, and will participate in community outreach events as designated.
