Summary:
The Market Manager, Security will provide a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a proprietary security force. The Security department acts as a hospital agent in maintaining the public order through visible patrols, response to emergencies, public liaison, documenting occurrences, and actively ensuring the safety of all is a priority. The Manager must be able to staff management for multiple facilities, payroll management, purchasing and logistics management. The Manager is responsible for the management of licenses and external training requirements, state CEUs, PI/QI data gathering plans, chart and graph creation, and quality reporting and briefing to the Corporate Director of Safety, Security, and Emergency Management at quarterly meetings. The Manager will administer disciplinary action when warranted and documents appropriately. The Manager will provide direction to team members of the department on a daily basis to assure operations remain effective. Additionally, the Manager will remain on call for guidance in situations requiring manager input. This individual will act immediately to patient/visitor complaints to assure appropriate customer recovery in situations where complaints are originated. The Manager will project annual budget requests and capitol department expenditures. The Manager will provide immediate support to the facility in any given disaster situation through collaboration with on-duty staff and local law enforcement agencies.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in safety or security required, bachelor's preferred. Five years security experience with three years of supervisory experience. An additional 3 years of security supervisory experience may be substituted in lieu of an Associates.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid or obtain Armed Security Officer licensure in appropriate state within 90 days. Valid and active driver's license Valid or obtain IAHSS Supervisory certification within 1 year, CPR required, Handle with Care required annually
