HOLT Truck Centers in Tyler, Texas is seeking an experienced Truck Field Service Technician. The incumbent for this position will provide exceptional customer service while inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance to trucks, trailers, and attachments for On-Highway vehicles. Possession of a CDL Class A will be required.

Essential Functions :
Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment withour Vision, Values, and Mission
Troubleshoots and repairs On-Highway trucks for both CAT and OEMPerforms engine and related equipment repairs on Trucks and TrailersTravels to and from the job site for repairs and to retrieve partsListens and understands customer complaints, quotes and explains repair costs, and schedules appointments with customers while providing clearcommunications
Disassembles, inspects, determines parts required, and reassembles to factory specifications within TRGsProvides quality control / assurance inspections of completed tasks to include road testingUses computers and related software to assist in diagnosing and reprograming enginesCompletes documentation for service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returnsInterprets and utilizes information from operating, maintenance, online resources, and service manuals / bulletinsOperates equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificatesAdheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulationsMaintains all company equipment, tools, and vehicles in a good, clean, and working orderOrders parts needed to complete repairs and travels to pick-upCompletes and files documentation necessary to justify billingCommunicates job progress to supervisor and customers as neededResponds to customer needs after hours when neededMaintains a P Factor of 95% or greaterMaintains less than 1% rework for year's total salesWorks overtime as required by workload and customers' needsProjects professionalism with both internal and external customers, including personal appearanceCompletes all assigned Technician Training Path courses and safety trainingWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
