Paint Prep Technician - Day Shift

Job Summary : The Paint Prep Technician is responsible for loading component parts into and operating Plasma / Oxy Cut, Shear, Press and Roll equipment. In addition, the Paint Prep Technician will perform basic painting and light assembly. Entry-Intermediate level position - Generally has a minimum of one year of experience and / or demonstrated job relevant knowledge / skills. The PPT relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job and has basic knowledge of standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. The PPT performs a variety of standard, basic, and technical tasks to include basic painting and light assembly; works under immediate supervision; a team member of product production and flow.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis : 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values;
