- This position involves reviewing aging reports on accounts receivable to determine the best course of action for collection efforts.
- You will be responsible for receiving detailed information about outstanding invoices and credits, reconciling customer accounts, and investigating and resolving short payments and disputed charges.
- Your tasks will also include creating extended payment contracts as approved by the Credit Manager, handling small claims proceedings, and communicating with customers to explain terms and provisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze aging reports to determine optimal collection strategies.
- Communicate with customers via phone or written correspondence to resolve disputes and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school graduate or equivalent degree is required, along with three to five years of experience in credit management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
- A valid California driver's license and clean DMV record are mandatory.
