SUMMARY
The Inside Sales and Rental Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with current and prospective customers. This will be accomplished by assisting customers with equipment sales and rental needs and assisting sales and rental representatives with the full rental and sales cycle; including, but not limited to dispatching for deliveries and pick-ups, fleet and reservation management and product knowledge.
This position will be responsible for a retail sales plan that involves generating opportunities and working closely with the sales representative to sell equipment solutions to customers through various channels, such as walk-ins and call-ins. This position will also initiate contact primarily by making outbound calls to provide customer information or to convert leads to opportunities through effective communication and questions with follow up answers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and their sales rep, in person, over the phone, and in writing to exceed customer expectations and needs
- Assist in implementing and maintaining department marketing programs designed to increase customer awareness of existing equipment, service needs, and provide information concerning product applications
- Ask questions to provide product insights reflecting the needs of assigned customers; be curious and care about our customers
- Update and maintain customer accounts in CRM system with customer information, machine population and critical information for the sales and Holt team to best serve the customer
- Engage in continued training to maintain a deep understanding of products and services we sell.
- Collaborate with other departments and reps to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service and address customer concerns
- Take customer calls, walk-ins, etc. for sales and rental requests.
- Handle paperwork associated with the rental of equipment (coordinate shop work, delivery, computer generated agreements and invoicing).
- Responsible for reviewing rental returns for damage, coordinating repairs with shop and invoicing of damages
- Work with sales representatives for Key Accounts and manage sales/rentals of those accounts
- Handle paperwork associated with the demo or sale of rental, new, and/or used equipment.
- Coordinate all rental, used, and demo hauling through dispatch
- Work with rental utility/yard technician on check-out and check-in of equipment.
- Work with Rental Manager on special projects, asset management and inventories, including physical inventory for yard and shop areas.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A minimum of a High School diploma and at least three (3) years industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver license and a clean DMV report.

COMPENSATION
Wage Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, plus commission plan
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
