THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE CA.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Used Equipment Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on equipment we are considering for trade in or used inventory. The position will also coordinate with service on used fleet repairs and assist Used Equipment sales team on various tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform used equipment inspections for Used Equipment Manager and / or Sales Manager and assist in determining equipment value.
• Assist Used Equipment Manager in locating and purchasing used equipment for resale or salvage.
• Coordinates with service department on EMD used equipment repairs
• Driving may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

COMPENSATIONS

Pay Range : $31.00 - $39.00 Hourly.

Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.

Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
