BD Manager
We have a live opportunity with one of our East Coast clients for an experienced BD Manager to join their team and help them continue to grow.
The BD Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the companies Rectifiers Division. As BD Manager you will be working for a business who have two facilities and are part of a much larger US manufacturing group meaning strong job security and development opportunities.
This BD Manager position has a direct route to progress into a more senior position over the next 12 months.
Responsibilities as BD Manager:
- Strategic planning of Business Development including target identification, emerging market trends, and competition.
- Business expansion through identifying new customers, as well as further developing existing clients and relationships.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts beneficial to both the company and the customers.
- Assist with Product Development and Innovation through providing key market trends and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create content and increase exposure of the company and brand.
- Attend trade shows and exhibition to promote the business and build relationships.
- Lead and coach other business development professional within the company.
Experience required as BD Manager:
- Proven ability in business development / technical sales within power electronics, specifically Rectifiers.
- BSc in a Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
- Additional BSc or MBA in engineering related field is a plus.
- Previous background from within Rectifier or Power Electronics manufacture highly desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
