Machine Operator

We have a live opportunity for a Machine Operator to join a market leading firearms manufacturer with a heritage leading back over a century. The Machine Operator will be working on a 3rd shift which runs 8pm to 6am.

Due to expansion and growth our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Machine Operator to join their industry leading business. The Machine Operator will support a range of machining operations as well as basic precision inspection.

Responsibilities for the Machine Operator:

• Load, run, and unload products and parts for various CNC milling or turning operations.
• Be responsible for the operating and running of multiple machines at once.
• Occasionally perform basic offset changes to machines during production to ensure standards are met in line with the blueprints.
• Ensure consistent quality by periodically visually and physically inspecting the components.
• Perform preventative maintenance where required and possible.
• Other tasks may be assigned by the Production Supervisor where necessary.

Experience for the Machine Operator:

• 1-2 years minimum experience in a machine shop environment.
• Diploma in engineering related discipline desirable.
• Confident reading and working to technical blueprints.
• Motivated and positive attitude.

Work pattern for the Machine Operator:

• 3rd shift, 20% differential available
