Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the use of Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure that they are effectively and consistently put into action.
- Generates a minimum 8% Net Profit in the Full Service Lease and Rental portfolio.
- Drives Profitable Growth in accordance with growth forecasts and plans.
- Develops and implements an annual business plan including sales forecasts, budgets and quarterly projections.
- Develops and implements operating policies and procedures in conformance with company objectives.
- Maintains all lease and rental facilities, vehicles, signage and any other company assets in accordance with Idealease Brand Standards.
- Safeguards company assets by maintaining strong internal controls.
- Reviews all company financial and operating statements and initiates corrective action for improvement in operations.
- Promotes an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork and good will with all employees within Idealease and the dealership.
- Reinforces and mandates the Idealease Core Values of Expertise, Responsiveness, and Stability.
- Monitors and measures Overhead per Unit (OPU) and keep below $3,500.
- Supervises and motivates sales personnel to secure new business.
- Establishes an annual marketing plan and a go-to-market strategy in conformance with the annual business plan and budget.
- Establishes a rating policy and procedure for sales personnel to utilize when proposing new Idealease business.
- Establishes goals and quotas for all sales personnel, reviewing on a regular basis.
- Approves any new contracted business.
- Assists in lease sales production as required with key accounts.
- Communicates regularly with large volume lease and rental customers.
- Manages customer conflicts so Account Manager does not lose standing with customer.
- Supervises and motivates the Idealease Service Manager (ISM), focusing on cost controls and customer satisfaction. Maintenance costs for FSL and Rental should be less than 20% of revenue.
- Develops a full understanding of all maintenance resources available on the Idealease Resource Center.
- Reviews the manpower needs and scheduling with the ISM on a regular basis.
- Monitors inventories of parts, tires, lubricants and fuel to ensure all items are accounted for correctly and within forecasted and budgeted levels.
- Monitors warranty programs and warranty recovery.
- Reviews monthly financial, income statements and reports with the Idealease Service Manager.
- Monitors and reviews customer service levels on a continual basis with the ISM.
- Works safely adhering to all applicable safety policies, complying with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Construction Management is preferred.
- 5 or more years of directly related business management and/or operational management experience leading diverse teams and offering a broad range of product offerings.
- Experience in the construction equipment rental industry, preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel:
- Some travel required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
- This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.

- Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment.
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.

- This job is generally performed in a professional office environment.
- Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
