What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at HOLTEC INTERNATIONAL?
Holtec International is currently seeking a Quality Engineer. This position will be based out of Holtec’s Corporate Technology Center in Camden, New Jersey.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist Corporate Quality Assurance Manager by reinforcing, monitoring, and sustaining Quality standards, including policies on scope and retention requirements of QA documentation.
- Perform internal surveillances of internal processes to ensure compliance to Holtec’s Quality Assurance Program.
- Review specifications, procedures, and other documentation to verify compliance with technical QA requirements.
- Perform oversight at vendor facilities to verify compliance to procurement documents and quality assurance requirements.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- The position requires a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) to minimally perform the job duties.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Design Knowledge – design techniques, tools, and principles in production of precision technical plans, tolerances, tolerance stack-ups, drawings, and models.
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills with multiple organizational levels
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite: Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Questioning Attitude
